Alexander Wilson

Culture, Work, and Stratification Researcher.


Alex is a second-year PhD student at the University of Toronto who studies culture, work, and stratification. He is interested in how economic, cultural, and technological changes interact with the everyday stress, values, and goal-pursuits of workers.

Alex is currently the project director of the Toronto Work and Health project supervised by professor Scott Schieman. There he helps organize multiple national surveys and paper projects related to the job conditions, health, and values of American and Canadian workers.
